Hello and welcome back from the World Expo 2005. This year the Mandalay Bay was the most perfect venue yet and the staff of the Recharger magazine did a good job to pull it off. Logistical support scored highly but unfortunately educational courses and attendance scored low. The cartridge rebuilding classes were no more than disassembly instructions, lacking in true remanufacturing tips. They should incorporate toner and chip strategies into the classes but unfortunately do not. The attendance seemed poor but we still have to wait on the numbers from the World Expo. I remember a quote from an attendee during the WE 2005, “All in the name of profit for the organizers”, and unfortunately it seems like the trend for the future. I myself experienced decent sales at the show because of my advertised show specials, but as a whole felt our Recharger Magazine leadership could care less.
