    Spotlight on Clover Technologies Group
Clover Technologies Group Climbs 60 Spots to #34 in Inc. Magazine’s 500 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies

Once again, Clover Technologies Group Makes Inc. Magazine’s “Fastest Growing Private Companies” with a five year growth rate of 3,320%. In 2002, Clover came in #94 with 5 year growth of 1,839%.

“We are the fastest growing Company in our industry for one reason, we have the greatest customers in the world that buy the best products this industry offers,” says Clover President, Jim Cerkleski. “We are very proud of our customer-base; it’s the envy of our industry.”

“To again make Inc. magazine’s elite list of fastest growing companies means even more to us this year because 2002 was all about focus; focus on Quality, R&D and Automation. With so much investment going on, we didn’t expect to also grow our business faster than anyone in our industry,” says Clover CEO, Jim Schiefelbein. “With all this momentum, we anticipate even greater things ahead.”

This year’s Inc. 500 companies have thrived through continued stagnation in the economy, posting an average five-year sales growth of 1,312%. And while the U.S. shed 1.5 million jobs in 2002, Inc. 500 companies — half of which were launched with less than $20,000 — provided employment for 67,973 people with aggregate revenues near $15 billion. “The entrepreneurs you’ll find on the Inc. 500 have the type of attitude we need to get this economy moving again,” said Inc. editor-in-chief John Koten. “For them, a tough market is not an excuse for poor performance, but an opportunity to innovate and rise above the competition.”
