China printer market grows 3.4 percent in first quarter 2007 June
2007 Total printer shipments in China reached 2.095 million units in
the first quarter of 2007, decreasing 8.3 percent quarter-on-quarter
but representing an increase of 3.4 percent year-on-year, according to
Analysys International. The analysts estimate the China printer market
value amounted to RMB 2.49 billion, decreasing 8.9 percent
quarter-on-quarter and growing 4.1 percent year-on-year.HP, Epson and
Cannon occupied the top 3 positions in the China printer market.
HP had a market share of 32.2% Epson a 21.0% share Cannon a 14.1% share Lenovo had a 10.3% share Lexmark followed at 3.3%.
Inkjet printers continue to lead by a wide margin based on shipments.
