Dell has launched its printers in Europe and is backing it up with a free toner recycling programme.
Aimed at the consumer and small and medium business markets, the firm has rolled out seven new inkjet, laser and multi-function printers. Each Dell toner cartridge comes with a pre-paid postage label in which the customer can return used cartridges for recycling. All printers come with the Dell ink and toner management systems which instruct the user when a replacement cartridge is required.
In an attempt to eat away at rival Hewlett-Packard’s profit centre, Dell entered the printer market in the US in March promising to drive down prices.
