Kinko’s posts slight Q2 revenue rise
    December
2007 – Memphis, TN, USA FedEx Services, which includes the operations
of FedEx Kinko’s and FedEx Global Supply Chain Services, has reported a
revenue increase of 1 percent year over year. The firm said growth in
package acceptance fees and revenue generated from newFedEx Kinko’s
locations “more than offset” lower copy product revenues.Kinko’s opened
83 new centres during Q2 as part of its plan to add 300 new centres
this fiscal year. However, the company will slow the rate of expansion
of new locations in fiscal 2009.Results for the FedEx group as a whole
saw a revenue rise of $9.45 billion, up 6 percent from $8.93 billion
the previous year. Net income of $479 million, was down 6 percent from
last year, with a decline in the operating margin put down to the net
impact of substantially higher fuel costs and continued weakness in the
    US economy.
