    Cartridge World appoints england for £1m campaign

    Cartridge
    World appoints Leeds-based communications company, an agency called
    england, to handle its marketing account worth in excess of £1million.

    england
    is working on a number of new projects for Cartridge World, retailer of
    refilled and remanufactured printer cartridges, which has almost 300
    franchises across the UK.The agency will develop Cartridge World’s
    brand strategy with the aim of increasing awareness with consumers and
    small businesses, as well as with potential new franchisees. england
    will be responsible for advertising, creative design, media planning
    and buying, PR and website design.Following a successful post-Christmas
    television campaign, england has negotiated and implemented a four
    month broadcast sponsorship package with ITV4 which began in June. It
    has also developed the public relations strategy, including launch of
    Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing, the first European motor-racing
    team to announce its intention to operate a zero carbon policy.
    Cartridge World Carbon Zero Racing (pictured) will compete in the 2009
    HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship.Richard Midgley, managing
    director of england, said: “Cartridge World has clear plans to continue
    expanding with new franchises opening in the coming year. england is
    working on a number of on-going projects. The real value of the ITV4
    sponsorship lies in the consistent audience generated by the channel,
    enabling us to build sustainable coverage and frequency for Cartridge
    World, while remaining cost effective.”Simon Smith, Head of Marketing –
    Europe for Cartridge World, added: “england has a team of specialists
    in every relevant field. We have been working closelywith the agency to
    build clear understanding of our short and long-term ambitions for the
    brand and england has already brought expertise, enthusiasm and
    creativity to a number of projects.”
