    Canon subsidiary opens Honolulu office
    Canon Business Solutions, a document imaging systems company and a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., has opened an office in Honolulu.The new sales and support office is at 210 Ward Avem Suite 201, next to Canon U.S.A.“In 2008 we initiated plans to establish an office in Hawaii as part of our nationwide expansion program. We have a base of Canon customers throughout the islands that can benefit from the presence of Canon’s direct sales subsidiary,” said Tod Pike, president, Canon Business Solutions Inc., in a statement.

    Gerald Shioji, market director, will oversee the development of new business in Hawaii.The new Honolulu office is part of a continued expansion of Canon Business Solutions, based in New York. Canon Business Solutions operates from 58 offices in 38 metropolitan areas in the United States.

    Canon opens Albany office
    Canon is opening a document imaging business in Albany, N.Y., the company said.
    Canon Business Solutions Inc., a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A. Inc. , said it was opening a sales and support office at 14 Corporate Woods Boulevard, Albany, to support its growing business in the Albany area. Canon U.S.A. is a $45 billion tech company.

    Canon Business Solutions is based in Lake Success, N.Y. The company has 58 offices in 38 cities across the country. The move into Albany is part of an expansion within the Northeast.“Albany was part of a first phase of openings and joins Boston and Hartford in our efforts to provide a subsidiary presence throughout the region,” said Tod Pike, president of Canon Business Solutions. “New York’s capital is vitally important to both local and statewide business.”The company did not provide staffing or revenue figures. A call to Canon was not immediately returned.
