    Konica Minolta Sees 21% Sales Growth In Middle East

    Konica Minolta achieved 21 per cent increase in sales performance during 2014 in the Middle East, while its market share for colour production segment reached 25 per cent, driving overall revenue growth by 7 per cent over the previous year.

    The company is consolidating its market position in the UAE, building on innovative solutions, a statement said.

    With the introduction of the bizhub PRESS C1100 and Konica Minolta aims to make a strong impact in the mid-high range segment. The range provides greater value and quicker ROI.

    “We are very positive about strong results in the Managed Print Services segment. There will be considerable impact of the recent ruling in the UAE that obliges financial organizations to digitize all paper contracts and create digital workflows for their ongoing management,” said a Konica Minolta official.

    “Konica Minolta is ready for the challenging transformation that requires a huge amount of paper archives to be digitized. Konica Minolta devices, connected via bEST (bizhub Extended Solution Technology), integrate customized solutions for digitalization and content management.”

    Konica Minolta forecasts double digit growth in the managed print services segment as more and more businesses, especially the financial industry, oil and gas industries, logistics and services industries are leveraging the cost-savings potential managed print services.

    Small and medium business account for more than 60 per cent of Konica Minolta revenues globally, and this trend will continue to grow in the UAE as well.

    “Our devices operate well as standalone solutions, while offering seamless service under central software management, the adaptability works perfectly for SMBs. With functions such as server-less pull-print, the device functions as a server and can manage up to 10 devices.
