European authorities have seized more than €17 million worth of counterfeit goods during a Frontex-led enforcement operation spanning 12 EU Member States, along with Serbia, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. Supported by Europol, Interpol, and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the coordinated crackdown targeted criminal networks trafficking fake products across Europe’s borders. The operation uncovered counterfeit toner cartridges, clothing, electronics, cosmetics, toys, and luxury goods, highlighting the broad reach of counterfeiters across multiple industries. The multinational operation underscores Europe’s growing commitment to protecting intellectual property, consumers, and legitimate manufacturers from the global counterfeit trade.
