$10 million Technology for Teaching Grant Offered by HP
Oct. 2003–HP offers a $10 million Technology for Teaching Grant initiative targeting schools in the United States from kindergarten through university level. The initiative is designed to support innovative and effective uses of technology in classrooms so that students may reach their full potential, particularly in math, science and engineering.
The grant application is Web-based and open to any K-12 public school and any two- or four-year college or university or in the United States. Recipients must be focused on applying mobile technology in learning environments in ways that will increase student achievement. Recipients awarded in 2004 may be invited to attend a recipient community event and to apply in 2005 for an additional grant investment.
