Konica Copiers Rank the Best in OPA 2003 End-User Survey
Konica’s Line of Copiers Surpasses the Competition on Reliability, Price, Performance, Copy Quality and Service Support
RAMSEY, N.J.,/PRNewswire/ — Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) today announced that Konica’s copiers received the highest rating in the Office Products Analyst’s (OPA) 2003 Copier End-User Survey. With an 8.9 overall rating, Konica’s copier brand surpassed the Competition, including: Xerox, Ricoh, Canon, Gestetner, Savin, Kyocera Mita, Toshiba, Lanier, Sharp and Oce.“We congratulate Konica for a fine showing in this year’s study,” said Andy Slawetsky, vice president, Industry Analysts, Inc. “They have raised the bar for the entire industry.”
To compile the data for its 2003 Copier End-User Survey, OPA, a monthly newsletter devoted to the cost/performance analysis of office products published by Industry Analysts, Inc., interviewed 218 users with 448 installed copiers. Respondents were asked to rate their copier(s) on a scale of one to ten, with ten being the best, with respect to Reliability, Price/Performance, Copy Quality and Service Support. These user ratings were then weighted by the number of units represented to provide a composite user rating for each of the brands. The composite ratings consist of all models in every speed range within a particular brand.
