Free colour printer service impresses
dealer
TALLY GENICOM
has introduced a scheme to supply colour laser printers free of charge to car
dealerships. The machine is supplied for 3-years and customers need only purchase a
start-up kit and a minimum of one value pack of Tally Genicom brand toner each
year.
The dealership will also have a completely managed service with next
business day response, and fully trained engineers will install the printer and
fully maintain it within the 3 year period of the loan.
Pomphrey Vauxhall, in Sittingbourne, is one of the first to take-up the
offer.
“It seemed extremely cost effective to me, and so we decided to go for it
and take two printers,” said Kath Skip, Pomphrey marketing manager. “The
extensive range of marketing collateral that we produce – hundreds of A4 pages
in colour with no white space at all – meant that reliability and print quality
were very important to us – and the new Rent Free scheme ensured we had both.”
In addition to producing stock lists, the colour printers are also used
by Pomphreys to print out Welcome Packs for customers. “This is something we do
for all our new customers,” explained Kathy. “The Welcome Pack contains
everything they need to know about their new purchase and about the support and
services that we provide after the sale, including bios and photographs of the
complete management team here.”
Dealerships with medium to high volume colour printing needs who replace
toner at least once a year will reap significant savings from this scheme,
promised Robin Edwardes, of Tally Genicom.
