UK:JAIL TIME FOR RUGBY STAR OVER
COUNTERFEIT INK CARTRIDGES
The
former Great Britain winger Gareth Raynor faces going to prison over an
ink cartridge fraud.
Raynor, 31, admitted 14 counts of fraud and
counterfeiting at Hull Crown Court but is yet to be sentenced. The court
heard that Raynor had imported low-quality computer ink, repackaged it
and sold it as “name” brands. Raynor, who won six caps, is now with the
Crusaders, having been released by Hull in the winter with a year left
on his contract.Shaun Ainscough, recalled from his loan at Castleford,
goes straight into Wigan’s squad to face Harlequins tonight. The winger
has been brought back because of injuries to Amos Roberts and Darrell
Goulding. He could be in direct opposition to Kevin Penny, on loan to
Quins from Warrington.Hull are set to give Paul McShane, the young
hooker on loan from Leeds, his first appearance against Wakefield
tonight.
