Trying to level a cartridge mountain
    A
CHESTER company has declared war on a printer cartridge mountain which
it says is clogging landfill sites and damaging the environment.
    Exacta
is recruiting a 5,000- strong recycling army, to collect empty toner
and inkjet cartridges from collection boxes it is placing in homes and
    workplaces across the UK.
And it will arrange for them to be shipped
for recycling to the firm’s processing headquarters in Switzerland. It
will also act as distributors for Printer Juice, a new range of toner
and inkjet cartridges which can be re-used many times.
    “This is the
most comprehensive recycling programme in the country and one that will
have a positive impact on the environment,” said chairman Stuart
    Murphy.

Recycling company recruits ‘green army’ of 5,000

A CHESTER company is recruiting a 5,000-strong recycling army in a multi-million pound UK-wide investment.
Exacta is hiring the workers to collect empty toner and inkjet cartridges from homes and workplaces across the country.
They will then arrange for them to be shipped for recycling to their processing HQ in Switzerland.
    They
will also act as distributors for Printer Juice, a new range of toner
and inkjet cartridges that have been designed with the environment in
    mind.
The cartridges are capable of being re-used many times.
    Exacta
chairman Stuart Murphy said: “This is the most comprehensive recycling
programme in the country and one that will have a positive impact on
    the environment
“The big difference between this and other so-called
recycling initiatives is that our distributors will physically collect
empty cartridges from the thousands of collection boxes we are placing
in homes and offices across the country.
    “And we already have
hundreds of people wanting to join us because they can build businesses
of their own supplying our Printer Juice range of
environmentallyfriendly products to homes and businesses.”
    Mr Murphy
believes the new legislation which came into force this summer,
requiring environmentally safe disposal of waste products, will make
the Exacta solution a compelling one for homes and businesses in the
    future
