The local operating company achieved 162 per cent unit sales growth compared with the previous financial year.

The organisation saved R100 million that was used to create Ricoh Capital South Africa for leases or service contracts on equipment and services, to enhance infrastructure, social responsibility and local skills development.

The eight service lines that include application services, business process services, communication services, IT infrastructure services, managed document services (MDS), production print services, sustainability management services, and workplace services.

The company appointed new distributors last year consisting of Rectron and Incredible Solution and Game. Each serves different and complementary markets. The new channel was created in July 2013 and by December 2013 Ricoh SA had won the award for top channel business in Ricoh’s EMEA region. Performance was measured by quantities sold, hardware revenue, consumables revenue, profit, growth and strategic channel development.

The award was made at the POK event in December in Lisbon, Portugal.
