Kodak appoints heads in Asia
November
2005 – Rochester (NY): Eastman Kodak has made two senior appointments
to lead its newly constituted Asia operations, with immediate effect.
Ying
Yeh and Warren Wisnewski will replace Karen Smith-Pilkington, SVP of
Kodak and chairman/president of its greater Asia region, who has
resigned for personal reasons.
The company has divided its greater
Asia region into North Asia and South Asia regions, which will now
report directly to Kodak’s worldwide headquarters.
Yeh, greater
China chairman and general manager of external affairs at the firm’s
greater Asia region, has been named chairman and president of North
Asia. She will continue as a VP at the company and will remain
responsible for external affairs across Asia.
Wisnewski has been
named chairman of South Asia and VP of international operations, and
will also assume the role of operations manager of North Asia, where he
will report to Yeh. He will continue to serve as general manager of
equipment manufacturing in Asia.
Both Wisnewski and Yeh will report to Charles Brown, chief administration officer and SVP at Kodak.
