Brother brings back SAVE to Malaysia
PETALING
JAYA: Brother International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is bringing back its
Support Appreciate Value the Environment (SAVE) initiative to Malaysia
to show its commitment to environmental conservation, said managing
director Tomosaburo Tsuji. “The initiative is rooted in our corporate
philosophy to do minimal harm to the environment and to encourage
consumers to make pro-environment choices,” Tsuji said at the launch of
the initiative and the Brother International carnival sale. The SAVE
campaign will include value packages for the brand’s HL-2040 laser
printers, MFC-215C and DCP-115C colour inkjet multifunction centres, as
well as three facsimile machines, the laser Fax-2820, the plain paper
Fax-827 and the thermal Fax-236S. To encourage consumers to opt for
these more environment-friendly products that use less toner, ink and
power, the company is offering free black ink cartridges, electronic
labelling machines, RM50 petrol vouchers or instant rebates on
trade-ins, depending on the product purchased during the carnival sale
period that ends July 31. “We understand that Malaysian consumers who
are often motivated by price need added incentives to do the right
thing for the environment. “Our first SAVE initiative was a hit because
we gave consumers the option of purchasing environmental friendly
products with lower total cost of ownership for less. This year, we
have made it even more attractive,” Tsuji said.
