ACM TECHNOLOGIES, INC. ACHIEVES PLATINUM
STATUS FROM THE GREEN BUSINESS BUREAUJanuary 23, 2012, Corona, CA – ACM Technologies, Inc. today announced that the company received its Platinum Certification from the Green Business Bureau (GBB). This is the highest level of Certification available from the GBB. The GBB provided information on different initiatives the company could do in order to be green. As part of the company’s initiative, ACM employees created a “Green Team” to assess everything from the sprinkler system to the napkins used to make the workplace an eco-friendly environment. With the support of the management team, many improvements were made such as, adding recycling bins, replacing regular light bulbs with energy efficient bulbs, and installing programmable thermostats to automate the A/C system.
“ACM joined the GBB because we have always emphasized the importance of recycling and reducing waste to preserve our environment. This was a great opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to being a green company, and lead by example for our customers and employees” said Ben Lin, Executive Vice President at ACM Technologies. “We were excited to see our employees come together as a team and achieve this status all within 6 months.
