I know that you are a follower of Memjet color print technology, and thought that you might be interested in this. You should know that the company has got big problems.The technology works, but Memjet’s business model has failed. The company will be sold soon. Problems with Memjet business have forced some good managers to leave. You should know that there are a lot more heading for the door.
Staff are depressed about Memjet’s sales, and the style of Memjet’s CEO, Len Lauer. Lauer is blaming the companies poor performance on his sales and management team. He is also not telling Memjet customers like Lomond, LG, and Lenovo about the pending sale.
Some companies such as Delphax and others are going to be announcing products at DRUPA. It is likely they will all be left out in the cold, not being able to get Memjet heads from the new owner. This just isn’t right, and it will damage the reputations of a lot of good folk.
