Xerox Donates $50,000 to Red Cross for Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 2012) — In an effort to bring more assistance to Kentucky families hurt by last week’s devastating tornados, Xerox is donating $50,000 to Kentucky Cares.  Xerox is proud to partner with the American Red Cross, UK Basketball Coach John Calipari and others to support our friends and employees impacted by last week’s storms.

Kentucky is home to nearly 5,000 Xerox employees. Last Friday, some of them suffered the loss of family, friends and neighbors. Numerous others are cleaning up damage to their homes. And countless more, lucky enough to make it through untouched, are lending a hand – either financially or physically. Xerox is doing its part to support the community.

Xerox has more than a dozen facilities in Kentucky, including locations in Lexington, Louisville, Erlanger, and London. Through its acquisition of ACS, Xerox is one of the largest private employers in Lexington and the state. Establishing operations here in 1998, Lexington has grown into one of Xerox’s largest bases of operations in the United States.
