Madison, WI December 7, 2015 – Parts Now is proud to announce their Thanksgiving week promotion to benefit the hungry, raised 4,592 meals for those in need this holiday season!
The promotion was centered around the Parts Now website, for each online order of more than $400 that was placed the week of Thanksgiving, Parts Now donated 5 percent of the total order amount to Feeding America. The result was an overwhelming success, providing more than 4,000 meals to feed the hungry.
“Parts Now customers are the best!” says Mike Cox, Chief Executive Officer of Parts Now. “We called on them to help make this happen and they certainly came through, I was delighted to present a check that will truly make a difference to so many.”
Feeding America’s network of food banks provides services to 46.5 million people in need across the United States, including 12 million children and 7 million seniors. Through a network of 58,000 pantries, meal service programs and other charitable food programs, the Feeding America network reaches people in need in every community in the United States.
“We encourage everyone to share the holiday spirit and make sure there’s food on every table, if not with our promotion then with some donation to your local food pantry” Cox says.
