HP To Invest US$1 Billion In Singapore Over 5 Years
Hewlett-Packard Co. Will spend US$1 billion in Singapore over five years to expand and upgrade its manufacturing, the company said Tuesday.
The investment will allow the world’s No. 2 computer maker to make high-end servers and printers and cater to rising demand from China and South Korea, it said.
The company is already one of the largest foreign investors in Singapore, its Southeast Asian hub where it employs some 6000 workers.
