ICCE was formed in 1997 to provide an industry-wide response to tackle the growing threat of counterfeiting within the imaging supplies industry across Europe, Middle East and Africa. It is a non-profit making association with nine members and ten brands: Brother, Canon, Epson, Hewlett-Packard, Kyocera, Lexmark, OKI, Ricoh, Samsung and Xerox.

This video which has Russian subtitles introduces ICCE, explains the risks of counterfeit imaging supplies such as printer cartridges, toners and ribbons, and talks about the fight against the counterfeiters.

Manufacturers of imaging products are working together as ICCE to combat counterfeiting and to protect consumers. A number of ICCE members have developed authentication devices and systems that enable consumers to check if a product may be counterfeit.
