Xerox Corporation
has launched a new competitive printing cartridge specifically designed for
Hewlett-Packard LaserJet black-and-white printers, delivering more printed pages
at a cost that is up to 20 percent lower than HP cartridges.
The
cartridge is the latest addition to the Xerox “It’s Compatible” line of toner
cartridges, which now has 19 HP compatible products.
The cartridge can
be used in the HP LaserJet 1100, 1200 and 1300 printers targeted to office
workgroups and entry-level production printing environments. Some of the range
of cartridges contains a microchip that supports HP “smart print” functions,
enabling the printer to automatically recognize the cartridge and indicate when
toner is low, as well as how many prints remain before the cartridge needs to be
replaced.
“Xerox innovation and world-class research help us stay ahead
of the game. We offer replacement cartridges nearly as fast as HP introduces
printers both internationally and in the Middle East markets,” said Dan Smith,
Office Product Manager, Distributor Operations Xerox International Group. “We
will continue to keep pace with HP product introductions with a focus on the
Middle East region and offer lower-cost and high-quality replacement cartridges
to cover a broad range of LaserJet printers.”
“This is further evidence
of the range and depth of products and services that Xerox provide in this
region” said Ketan Rele, Regional Xerox Supplies Group – Business Manager, along
with CCS, the Middle East partner of Xerox who are the master distributors of
Xerox Office Printing Business and these replacement cartridges
All Xerox
“It’s Compatible” products have a one-year, 100 percent performance guarantee or
the price of the cartridge will be refunded.
The Xerox replacement
cartridge for the HP LaserJet 1100, 1200 and 1300 is available immediately in
the Middle East and will be available in late May in Europe. The cartridges are
available for purchase through Xerox direct sales representatives, authorized
sales agents, resellers, dealers and master distributors such as CCS in the
Middle East region.
