HP UNVEILS NEW INKJET PRINTERS

HP Unveils New Printers
Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Co. has added three new Deskjet and two new Photosmart printers to its line.
The
compact and affordable Deskjet D2460 and D4260 printers, and Deskjet
F4180 All-in-One, are ideal for home or small office use, and range in
price from $79 to $129.  The D2460 can print black text in up to 20
pages-per-minute (ppm); or colour in 14 ppm. A 4 x 6 borderless photo
can be outputted in as fast as 49 seconds. Maximum dpi is 4,800 x
1,200.  
The F4180 AIO can print a borderless, 4 x 6 photo in as
fast as 145 seconds. Text is up to 20 ppm in black or 14 ppm in colour.
Also targeted toward the small office/home user is the Photosmart C4280
AIO (May; $129), which can print photos and documents, as well as copy
and scan files
