Samsung Exits Suit Over Printer Link Patents

New York– A Texas federal judge on Friday dismissed Samsung Electronics Corp. from a suit brought by an electronics company claiming the printer products of a number of technology companies infringe two patents for linking computers to external devices.

U.S. Magistrate Judge John D. Love signed off Thursday on a joint dismissal of all claims and counterclaims with prejudice between Whetstone Electronics LLC and Samsung, two days after Panasonic Corp. exited the same suit.
