Dozens of Staples-Branded Refilled HP Ink Cartridges Quietly Added to Staples Website

Staples is making it easier to purchase store-brand HP refilled inkjet cartridges, but only online.

It has come to our attention that the office superstore Staples has added more than 30 different refilled HP inkjet cartridges to its website, http://www.staples.com. Marketed under the “Staples Remanufactured Inkjet Cartridge” brand, the SKUs range from older inkjet cartridges like the HP 45A and HP 10, which made their debut in the 1990s, to more recent cartridges like the HP 901XL (see table below for complete list). Currently, Staples-branded refilled HP cartridges are only available online, and we understand they will not be available at retail in the near future—if ever.
