Ink Cartridge Bomb scare at Manila City Hall

TWO brown boxes, initially thought to be containing bombs, were left unattended in front of the office of Vice Mayor Isko Moreno at the second floor of the City Hall building Tuesday night.

The incident occurred hours after Vice Mayor Isko Moreno testified during the hearing of the petition asking Manila City Hall officials to pay the salaries of over 1000 dismissed city hall workers.

Medardo Ferreras, a janitor assigned at the OVM, said he noticed the boxes while cleaning the place around 7:30 p.m. or a few minutes after the vice mayor left, but the boxes were later found to contain only used photocopier ink cartridges.
