Lexmark Signs Deal in Russia

Distribution giant Merlion has extended its agreement with printing solutions vendor Lexmark. Merlion has announced an official distribution deal with Lexmark and will carry the vendor’s full portfolio. Lexmark hopes that the deal with Merlion will enable it to expand its reseller channel in Russia, boost sales and improve service levels for its in-country customer base.

Emmanuel Jan, general manager at Lexmark Russia, said: “Merlion serves a large network of dealers working with corporate clients and we are confident that this new relationship will be successful for both parties. Merlion will play an important role in driving sales of Lexmark products in Russia and increasing our market share.”

Dmitry Vinogradov, director of Merlion’s distribution division, said: “Merlion has sold Lexmark products since 2006 and has seen increasing demand from partners and steady sales growth. Lexmark products are distinguished by their high quality and reliability, innovative design and strong print management systems.”

Vinogradov continued: “We are excited about this new stage in our relationship with Lexmark. Becoming an official distributor, Merlion will make every effort to achieve effective cooperation with Lexmark.”
