HP Inc. secured final approval on Friday of a $10.5 million settlement over claims that it made misleading statements about its revenue estimation model. Judge Susan Ilston affirmed the deal at a virtual hearing on the motion for approval, including a nearly $1.9 million allocation for attorneys’ fees and litigation expenses, representing 18% of the total monetary settlement. “I have learned it would be better to set the final hearing after the close of the claim period, so that we have a better sense of how many claims there would be,” she said.
