On Mar 29, 2022, RISO said in a corporate statement that RISO KAGAKU CORPORATION is suspending shipments to Russia due to the sudden change of the business environment. RISO will continue to monitor and respond appropriately to the situation.
Local Dealer: We know that Riso sends the products it imports from Turkey directly to Russia. For this reason, we have difficulty finding products in our market. I constantly follow your website and I want to learn from you whether Riso’s shipments through Turkey are legal or not legal?
Tonernews.com: We are noticing delays and even ‘a change of mind’ in products going into Russia, for example USA’s Xerox and HP still have business entities that they had to deal with as of October and November of this year. These international dealings are very complicated and hard to monitor, especially if OEMs are keeping quiet about their positions in Russia. If Local dealers are affected by side deals and uncertainties, they should contact their local OEM and even the OEM directly abroad and bring up the issue, hopefully they will be honest about whether their products are going or are not going to Russia, but don’t count on it.
