    Imaging Supplies Coalition Announces 2004 Conference

    The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC) announced that its Tenth Anniversary Conference on Fraud and Counterfeiting in the Imaging Supplies Industry would be held September 26-28, 2004 at the luxurious Aladdin Resort & Casino on the famous Las Vegas Strip.

    “This unique industry event focuses on the problems and solutions of product counterfeiting and fraud in our industry,” said Mark Van Mater, National Supplies Manager of Sharp Electronics and ISC Chairman. “ All attendees benefit from sharing the methods they use to combat this illegal activity and learn from each others successes.”

    This year’s event marks the tenth anniversary of the ISC. Participants will see case studies of proven strategies to combat brand piracy and fraud in presentations by manufacturers, law enforcement, government officials, investigators and legal counsel from around the world. There will also be exhibits by product Security Solution Providers and Investigators.

    Bill Duffy, ISC President and CEO, said, “ The ISC has become a major force in battling illegal activity in our industry and this conference is one vehicle we use to share knowledge and strategies. We have timed the event so that people can also participate in the Recharger Magazine World Expo being held at the Sands/Venetian the three days following our conference.”
