Paragon Streamlines Brand, Drops Office Depot Name in Europe
Paragon Group has officially retired the Office Depot brand across its European operations, rebranding the business as Paragon Business Essentials. The move follows Paragon’s earlier acquisition of Office Depot’s UK and Ireland contract operations, which included customer accounts, distribution facilities, and marketing services.
The rebrand marks a strategic shift to unify the acquired business under the Paragon name, aligning it with the group’s broader portfolio and identity. According to Paragon, the new brand—Paragon Business Essentials—will continue to provide workplace supplies, print, and business services to corporate and public sector clients across the UK and Europe. This change also reflects the evolving structure of Office Depot’s former European operations. The e-commerce-focused Viking brand, now owned by the RAJA Group, continues to serve retail and small business customers separately. Paragon’s rebranding emphasizes its long-term commitment to integrated business solutions, dropping the legacy Office Depot label in favor of a more unified, future-facing identity.
