Tonernews.com calls out Tricia Judge and the I-ITC for taking money and support from China and for not being a true advocate of the U.S. remanufactured toner and recycling industry.

    Follow the Money
Tonernews.com needs to make everyone in the U.S. reman toner and recycling industry aware that the IITC does very little to promote the domestic industry. In fact, the I-ITC often has the opposite effect. By receiving financial support/funding linked to the Chinese toner industry—such as Ninestar, Printrite, SCC, and others—the I-ITC is unable or unwilling to fully expose what Chinese manufacturers have done, and continue to do, with massive overproduction and clone-counterfeit toner products flooding the market in the millions each year.

Is the I-ITC Compromised by Chinese Industry Payments?
As a result, the I-ITC’s main focus has increasingly been directed at attacking HP and its firmware strategies (Here’s Tricia on Chinese media criticizing HP). What Tricia Judge and the IITC overlook, is that HP developed firmware protections specifically to combat Chinese cloning and toner cartridge counterfeiting, making it more difficult to duplicate products and undermine intellectual property. This is viewed by many as a long-running, vicious cycle that has shaped the industry for decades, yet the I-ITC’s stance is seen as disproportionately critical of a U.S. company while downplaying the impact of foreign cloning operations.

The I-ITC Needs to Stop Backing Foreign Interests
Stick with Tonernews.com. We do not take money from Chinese toner cloners, and therefore we can speak freely and continue to expose what we believe are the major Chinese-driven issues that have plagued this industry for years. If anyone reading this wants to get a clearer picture, we can connect you with actual toner recyclers and remanufacturers so you can better understand what is really happening on the ground.

Tricia Judge and the IITC are welcome to join the Tonernews.com movement—but only if there is full transparency and a clear 100% break from any Chinese financial industry influence. Only then, can the I-ITC credibly help expose what many see as a counterfeit foreign toner cartel driving damage across the global supply chain. In this view, HP is not the enemy—the real issue is the ongoing impact of Chinese toner cloning and overproduction.
