Toshiba Just Got Sued Over Wireless Printing Technology Used in Its Printers.

Toshiba America Business Solutions has been hit with a new printer patent infringement lawsuit that could put wireless printing technology under the microscope. Flexiworld Technologies filed Flexiworld Technologies, Inc. v. Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc., Case No. 2:26-cv-11294, on September 29, 2026, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. View the Federal Lawsuit Docket According to the complaint, Flexiworld alleges that Toshiba multifunction printers and related mobile printing applications infringe seven U.S. patents covering wireless printing, printer controllers, printer software, printer firmware and printing from mobile devices without requiring a printer-specific driver.
