Minnesota’s Last Staples Store is Closing This March ☹
Remember those red “That was easy!” buttons that were all the rage for a while? I’ve got one at my place! Staples sold these iconic buttons back in 2005, and over 1 million people snapped them up. Unfortunately, the chain has slowly been leaving Minnesota, and now I’ve heard that the last store is about to close.
Minnesota’s Last Staples Store is Closing
As reported by the Star Tribune, there were five Staples stores in the Twin Cities area back in 2015—places like Woodbury, Roseville, Bloomington, Minnetonka, and Apple Valley—where you could grab school supplies, office essentials, or one of those red buttons when they were in stock.
Today, Minnesota only has one Staples location left. According to Kare11, that final store is set to close in March.
When is the Minnetonka Staples Closing?
If you drive by the Minnetonka location, you’ll see big white signs on the doors announcing that the store will close for good on March 14th, 2025. There’s also a sign reminding customers that Staples is still available online.
