Disappearing ink eludes York police
Thieves
with a large print job to do got away with $1.5 million worth of
printer cartridges from a Richmond Hill warehouse.A Lexmark Canada
employee showed up for work near Highway 404 and 16th Ave. about 5 a.m.
Jan. 6 and found nine skids of cartridges and a truck and container
were missing, York Region police said. The truck and container were
found in Vaughan two days later.

Regional Police need your help after $1.5 million worth of property was
stolen from a Richmond Hill business.On
Jan. 6 at 4:50 a.m., an employee at Lexmark Canada arrived at work and
noticed a hole in the loading door and forklift parked near the
hole.When
he checked the warehouse, he noticed there were nine missing skids of
printer cartridges. There was also a truck and container missing,
police said.The total value of the cartridges, truck and container is
$1.5 million.Jan. 8, the truck and empty container were found in
Vaughan, police said.No suspect descriptions are available.
