& INKS SEIZED IN PAKISTAN
LAHORE
PAKISTAN : The South Asia ACF Team along with the local police
conducted an enforcement action against a manufacturer and distributor
of counterfeit HP ink and toner packaging in the Shah Alam Market. HP
announced on Monday the seizure of 2,922 toner packages, 263 ink
packages, and other miscellaneous manufacturing material. This seizure
was conducted by the police at Shah Alam market, suburb of Lahore, which
supplied counterfeits to the IT markets in Zaitoon Plaza and Rafi Plaza
HP’s global anti-counterfeit programme incorporates industry-leading
anti-counterfeiting practices and partners with law enforcement agencies
to combat the manufacture, distribution, and sale of counterfeit HP
printer cartridges.
