    Brother Canada ranks first in Canadian laser multi-function printer (MFP) sales

    DOLLARD-DES-ORMEAUX,
    QC, Aug. 09- Brother International Corporation (Canada) Ltd. is proud
    to announce that it continues to be the most popular laser
    multi-function printer brand in Canada. Indeed, according to the 2008
    Hardcopy Peripherals data collected quarterly by IDC
    Canada(International Data Corporation Canada), Brother maintained its
    number 1 position in 2008 year-over-year, ahead of rivals
    Hewlett-Packard, Samsung,
    Canon and Lexmark.

    first place ranking over the past few years certainly proves Brother’s
    strength in the Canadian SOHO-SMB market”, states Martin Featherston,

    Evan Hardie, Senior Analyst at IDC Canada,
    continues: “Brother has held the #1 spot in the Multifunction Laser
    Printer (MFP) market in Canada since 2005. Brother has also outpaced
    the overall Laser Printer & MFP market in 2008, showing exponential
    growth led by its dominance of the Mono Laser MFP market.”

    Brother
