CHINA’s ASTER GROUP STARTS U.S OPERATION & BECOMES CERTIFIED
On May 9th, 2011, Aster Graphics Inc., the USA branch of Aster Group, is opened and starts full operations, just after a few days following the group’s celebration on its successful trial production and lunch of its global sales and marketing center located in Zhongshan.Aster USA is located in Southern California in the City of La Mirada. Its new facility occupies a 12,000 SQF warehouse of which the stocking capacity is over 100,000 cartridges, and will also include a recycling center along with a testing lab.
“This is another big move for Aster”, said Mr. Morrow Miao, the Marketing Director of Aster Group,“This shows our commitment to support our US importers and distributors by offering a local access to our products with quick lead times”.
In addition, to offer a quick delivery, Aster USA has partnered with a leading industry trucking company to offer 3-day LTL delivery to the East Coast.
“We have already received toner cartridge stock from our China factory last week . We are ready to receive orders and serve our customers.” Said Mr. Yin, the VP of Operation of Aster USA.
Aster-owned Toner Factory Becomes STMC Certified
On 4th May, Jiangxi Yibo E-tech Co., Ltd., the toner cartridge factory owned by Aster Group was successfully completed and received the prestigious Standardized Test Methods Committee (STMC) certification.“Aster is committed to manufacturing high quality imaging supplies and has adopted STMC testing methods for evaluating cartridge quality and performance. Our team of experienced engineers, Quality Control staff and management understands STMC is the most widely used and practiced testing methods in our industry for evaluating cartridge performance. “ Morrow Miao, Marketing Director of Aster Group, comments. “STMC certification is recognized as the most widely adopted symbol is the remanufacturing industry’s indicia of quality. Aster Group opens global sales center and celebrates successful product trials
Aster Group has announced that its new global sales and marketing centre in Zhongshan has finished setting up after a month’s busy work, and the first staff has moved in.
The new company recently began operations at its production facility, gearing up for an initial production rate of 300,000 cartridges a month.The newly constructed office is located in Sanxiang, Zhongshan, 10 miles out of the printing supply hub of Zhuhai. Aster says the 1,000 square meter building is designed for 100 sales and marketing staff overall.Morrow Miao, Aster Group’s Marketing Director, commented: “I’m very glad that Aster’s Global Marketing and Sales Center was successfully set up in such a short time. Early last month, Aster’s Jiangxi factory completed its trial production. Till now, everything is going on quite well as scheduled.”
He continued: “With the fast development of the economy, traffic jam is gradually becoming the most troublesome problem for medium size city, such as Zhuhai. However, Sangxiang, as a small town close to Zhuhai, offers more convenient and smooth transportation for Aster’s customers and staff.
Aster Group also recently celebrated the successful trial production of its first range of products. The company commenced trial production in early April, producing nine series and 28 models. Aster says mass production was approved on 20 April, a month and a half ahead of schedule.
A supplier attending the celebration commented: “I’m quite amazed by Aster’s new factory. It’s really a miracle that within just one month, Aster completed its facility construction and started its trial production. I’m quite confident that the future of Aster will be quite promising.”
