Lenovo China Latest Partner to Launch Memjet Color Ink-Jet Printer
May 2011 – Lenova China is Memjet’s latest partner to distribute under its own brand name Memjet’s 60-ppm home and office color ink-jet printer, with Lenova introducing its Lenova RJ600N May 5th in Beijing, China. The Lenova RJ600NB printer uses Memjet’s stationary page-width wide print head, and is rated at 60 ppm (black and color). Lenova China will distribute the printer in the Chinese office market; the RJ600N is also Lenovo China’s first digital color printer
Lenovo Group’s Chen Xudong delivers remarks to distributors, dealers, resellers, and press during the RJ600N launch May 5th in Beijing.Memjet also announced in March that new OEM partner Medio AG will begin marketing the Medion E89400, which is also based on the 60-ppm Memjet color ink-jet printer. Medio is said to be the third-largest PC brand in Germany, and also markets in Europe and North America. Medio will market the Medion in Germany beginning in the second half of this year.Last month, Memjet had announced a partnership with Lomond, a provider of consumables for office and large-format digital printing, under which Lomond will be distribute its Memjet-based EvoJet Office printer in the Russian market.
Memjet also recently added OEMS for its color ink-jet address and label printer, including Neopost USA, which markets the Memjet-based AS/HJ950C; Terra Print, which markets the Memjet-based OWN-X KFT; and Delphax, which will introduce a high-speed color ink-jet printer based on Memjet technology next year at the Drupa 2012 trade show in Germany.
