Chinese Made Oem Pantum Printers Launched Globally
Oct 2011ZHUHAI, China — Chinese-based Pantum has entered the printer manufacturing market using proprietary core technologies and dedication to break a 30-year-long monopoly by the international printer companies and become a leading printing solutions provider. “Pantum is now officially launched around the globe,” said Jackson Wang, CEO of Seine Technology Co., Ltd. His promise “to build China’s own printer” has come true.
In December 2010 China’s first laser printers with self-owned core technologies were launched. Nine months later, Pantum began to take on the global market with its brand-new MFP.
“We not only have to be successful domestically, but also internationally. This is the right choice for long-term development,” Wang said. An international strategy was developed at the very beginning of the Pantum project.
The big players have controlled the global printer market. In a quest to attract the most possible customers, printing industry suppliers have been battling each other to arrive at the lowest possible printer purchase price. They have replaced “value” with “low purchase price” in order to get consumer buyer’s attention and the business buyer has been abandoned in this process.
The introduction of Pantum has changed that. Based on proprietary core technologies, superior product quality and cost advantages of manufacturing the full range of printing products, Pantum has been immediately accepted into the market. Pantum printers have been shipped to Australia and will be delivered to the U.S. and Europe very soon. “Our success is beyond my expectations,” Wang said.
The overseas orders have been the first step for Pantum’s internationalization, which excites Wang and his team. It is a long road for a Chinese enterprise to become an international brand, Pantum has made a great start.In the future, the completion of oversea market plans and product lineup will strengthen Pantum’s global competition and push the popularization of printing technology, providing the users with better products and services.
