Clover's  FundingFactory Partners Up With Jacksonville College
JC participates in recycle program for cash, prizes

As a participant in the FundingFactory Recycling Program, Jacksonville College offers the College and the community a place to recycle electronic materials. In return, the College is able to earn free technology and/or cash. To date, the program has been very successful because of the participation of JC employees and students, Jacksonville and area residents, and friends of the College.

This year Jacksonville College is also participating in the FundingFactory’s Recycling Rumble promotion, which runs from February 1 through April 17, 2015. Jacksonville College will be competing against an agency similar in size to see who wins the most Rumble Points, and the winner of the Rumble will receive a 10% bonus on all qualifying inkjet cartridges, laser cartridges, cell phones, laptops, and MP3 players received through April 17.

During the contest period, Jacksonville College will receive 3 Rumble Points for every qualifying toner cartridge received, and 1 Rumble Point for all other qualifying items.

Three cash awards will be given to those organizations with the most Rumble Points nationwide. The first place winner will receive $5,000; the second place winner will receive $2,000; and the third place winner will receive $1,000. In addition, every Rumble point that any organization earns will be an entry into a $1,000 Wildcard Prize that will be drawn at the end of the Rumble.

Jacksonville College is asking the community to help by bringing empty laser and inkjet cartridges, used cell phones, laptops, and MP3 players to the College campus and dropping them off at one of the following locations: the C.R. Meadows Administration Building, the Jag Bookstore in the Weatherby Building, and the Summers and Mary Nell Norman Library.  Look for FundingFactory logo.  Please do not bring toner bottles as they are not accepted by the FundingFactory recycling program.

Don't forget to ask your workplace for their cartridges to support Jacksonville College instead of sending them back to the manufacturer. With each item you contribute, Jacksonville College will be one step closer to winning the Rumble.
