Costco members can now bring in their empty cartridges and receive a high quality refill in about an hour. One million ink cartridges are being emptied per day and 70% are discarded; there is a significant need to reduce the carbon footprint by reusing cartridges. A study conducted by Quality Logic, an independent testing laboratory, confirmed that RIS refills actually delivers up to 20% more pages than a new cartridge.
