Ex-worker pleads guilty to stealing from company
IOWA
CITY, Iowa – A former employee accused of stealing over $250,000 worth
of items from a Coralville company and selling them on eBay has pleaded
guilty to a theft charge.Kent Dolezal was accused of taking ink and
toner cartridges, thermal printheads and other items from Integrated
DNA Technologies Inc. from February 2003 until June 2007.Police say
Dolezal was a receiving agent in the company’s warehouse and he sold
the items from the company’s computers.Dolezal pleaded guilty last week
in Johnson County District Court. Sentencing is set for Nov. 7.
