Futor Cleaning System AG launches New Toner Cartridge Cleaning Machines
The Swiss manufacturer has launched a new range of TurboClean machines to automatically clean cartridges and components.

Futor’s General Manager Thierry Torrent told Tonernews.com  that the machines “automatically clean the cartridges and cartridge parts”, with the machines “patented toner cleaning systems for virtually all toner cartridges, mag rollers and parts” that deliver “unprecedented price-value ratio and very fast ROI [return on investment]!”

The three machines include the TurboClean 1350, 1500, 1800, 250K and 300M, with the first three featuring touchscreen control “with maximum 20 programmes”; an optional vibrator “to increase emptying and cleaning of the cartridge tanks”; “adjustable pressure conditions” of 70 percent down or 30 percent above”; new cleaning chambers “with sloping walls” that guide “all the toner […] directly to the vacuum”; and “adjustable height of the cleaning nozzles” with no additional tool needed.

Other features of the first three machines include a “basket carrier with four guides and mechanical torque load limit”, while the optional programme for Kyocera cartridges begins by “first emptying the tanks and then increasing the pressure of over 50 percent to achieve a higher degree of cleanliness”. The 250K meanwhile “was developed specifically for Kyocera cartridges and toner kits”, as “with their very small opening and high amount of waste toner, cleaning these cartridges is very time- and cost-intensive”.

Torrent added that the “automatic” 250K machine “completely solves this problem”, was available with ATEX certification, and can also be manually loaded, offering the ability to “clean between 250 and 400 cartridges per hour depending on the types of cartridges”, which he said offered a “very interesting ROI!”

Finally, the 300M is a “new, high-speed cleaning system for mag-rollers”, offering a “unique and patented air-moving and conveyor system” that “increases the cleaning efficiency over conventional methods” by “eight to 12 times and more”. The “ingenious ionization system eliminates any static charges resulting in unsurpassed cleanliness of the parts”, and Torrent concluded by noting that all the new machines are available “in Switzerland”.
