    German Remanufacturer KMP Has Annual Turnover of 88M Euros

    ONE of the largest printer toner and inkjet manufacturers has relocated its UK sales and distribution centre to Greenock, creating eight jobs.

    German company KMP have opened premises in Arthur Street.

    The Greenock operation will service the UK market with toner cartridges, inkjet cartridges, thermal ribbons and printer ribbons. It will also be the UK base for recycling of used toner and inkjet cartridges.

    KMP Greenock have opened a trade counter at the site which will allow local businesses and members of the public to buy products at trade prices and also earn cash by returning used cartridges.

    Stewart Gunn, who is in charge of the Greenock centre, said: “We are delighted to be investing in Inverclyde and creating jobs.

    “We will also be adding general office supplies to our operation here.”

    KMP – which has an annual turnover of 88 million Euros – have sales and distribution centres in 10 European countries as well as South Africa.
