HONOLULU, HI and HACIENDA HEIGHTS, CA– October 28, 2013 – TruTag Technologies, Inc., the developer of a covert authentication platform to address the trillion dollar global market for brand protection, and Green Project, Inc., an international manufacturer and leading supplier of remanufactured inkjet and toner cartridge products, today announced that Green Project will institute a worldwide security program to protect its innovative products using TruTag’s product authentication solution. The terms of the deal are confidential, but TruTag will license its technology for use by Green Project and provide additional services to ensure continued protection in all markets for all covered products. TruTag® microtags are inert, edible, serializable, and can integrate into the very fabric of a product, independent of packaging and labels, much like fingerprints on a human being. Millions of optical patterns can be embedded into a ‘TruTag’, which is a dust sized particle less than the width of a human hair.
