How to Stop Lexmark Inkjet Cartridge Monitoring

Disable Monitoring

Step 1

Right-click on the taskbar to open the Task Manager window.

Step 2

Click "More Details" to reveal the advanced menu options.

Step 3

Click the "Processes" tab and scroll to the "Lexmark" item.

Step 4

Select the "Lexmark" item and click "End Task" to immediately stop the application from monitoring the printer's ink levels.

Step 5

Click the "Startup" tab on the Task Manager window and select the "Lexmark" item.

Step 6

Click the "Disable" button to stop the application from automatically loading the next time you start Windows.

Uninstall the Lexmark Application

Step 1

Place your cursor at the bottom left corner of the screen to reveal a thumbnail of the Start menu.

Step 2

Right-click on the thumbnail and select "Programs and Features" from the pop-up menu to open the Programs and Features window.

Step 3

Scroll down the list of items until you see the Lexmark application.

Step 4

Select the "Lexmark" application and click "Uninstall."

Step 5

Click "Yes" to confirm that you want to uninstall the application. The system will delete the Lexmark application.
