HP LAUNCHES FEAR CAMPAIGN ABOUT REMANUFACTURED TONERS AND INKS

Miami Fl april 2011 :In recent articles and pay for adds running all over the Webb ,HP has been promoting it’s pay for quality-logic report to scare consumers into buying high priced OEM toners and ink cartridges ,HP & Quality-logic (http://http://www.qualitylogic.com/tonertest.pdf) do not try to walk a fine line in expressing discontent ( hp.com/uk/tonertest) about remanufactured product ,this Fear campaign is nothing new to our industry  ,however from the amount of money they have spent pitching fear it seams that it is not working for them ,plagued with inner corruption, bribery charges and the mark hurd fiasco HP is now taking an excerpt from the Bush/Cheney elections campaign, where fear is the new norm and common sense has no value ,the mighty dollar once again looses it credentials thank’s to HP.

Wholesaler are also being attacked recently in certain publications HP and other OEMs’ via the imaging supplies coalition (isc-inc.org ) are also spreading fear about wholesale and Surplus product ,having been in this industry for over 30 years, we know that there is actually very little counterfeit product in the USA’s and Europe (less than 1%) and that spreading fear in the Surplus / wholesale industry seams like total desperation from a company that make a living gauging consumers .

it’s time for HP to stop the fear mongering and to be honest in the wake of these difficult times we are experiencing in America  ,most ink cartridges that Hp releases cost them about $1.50 to manufacture they turn around and sell it to the public for $ 35 to $50+ each ,most toner cartridges that hp manufactures cost them from $ 5.00 to $20 each ,they turn around and sell them from $ 50.00 to $ 250+each ,now that’s a total gauge !

the remanufacture industry keeps the gaugers (HP ,Lexmark, xerox  etc )in line ,create local jobs and keeps local environment clean thank’s to local waste management companies, wouldn’t it be great if the OEMs’ found a way to work with the remanufactures in reducing waste and making product more affordable for all ?
